MEET LYNN
LYNN GRAY has been an educator for nearly 40 years and has served on the Hillsborough County School Board since 2016. She is currently seeking re-election for a third term to HCSB, District 7, which encompasses the entirety of Hillsborough County.
Gray’s hands-on experience in the classroom has been invaluable in shaping her policies. As a member of the HCSB, Gray initiated various ongoing committees to strengthen parental and community involvement for their children’s education and safety. The committees include the African-American Task Force, Student Online Safety, the Hispanic Forum, and Hillsborough Healthy Schools.
In addition to her work in education, Lynn Gray was the successful small business owner of Take...The First Step, and she is a passionate advocate for health and wellness. She has completed 106 marathons and remains an active member of Tampa Bay's running community.
Lynn holds a Bachelor's in Education from the University of South Florida and a master’s in Education Leadership from Nova University.
